Lord Cornwallist tried hard, but eventually surrendered to Washington and his troops. This battle ended the American Revolution on October 19, 1781 and gave the colonists indepndence from Great Britain.

It was signed by Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, John Jay, and David Hartley. This treaty ended the American Revolution and declared the Colonies independence from Great Britain.
