On 1948 an India company decided that they would set up a supervising station in Cape, Africa. When white people came from the Netherlands, they took South Africa from all the people that lived there. After that more people started to come to take over Africa. -

The New Laws
The goverment passed a law that wouldn't allow people to enter a black area. The law onlt made sure that blacks could only enter in black areas. -
The Protesters
The National Congress of Africa starts to make a resistance that go against the aparteid. They would sit on beaches that said that only white people could sit on here, and they would sty out late, even if they had to skip their curfew. -
The New System
After a while since the aparteid started, a new law was created for schools. The law said that whites and blacks would have to be taught separately. The law also said that schools shouldn't teach blacks that much, because they said that blacks would only work as miners or something else. -
The Splitting
The Goverment of Africa decideds that they should split the large groups of blacks that live on south Africa. They did this so the blacks don't ever become citizens. They got homelands and put the blacks there. -
The Capture
Nelson Mandela is captured by the police for standing against the aparteid. Serval other people that stood against the aparteid were captured too. Nelson was charged for standing against them aparteid,and he had to have a four year trial, but after it was over he was found not guilty. -
The Riot
When the aparteid existed the police made it so people had to carry books that had their imformation on it. On this date when protesters showed up and they didn't have thier books a riot started. During the riot the police killed 69 people. -
The Rebellion
On this date Africa decided that it would call itself a republic country. They also started to rebell against the countrie's racist policies. They also severed the ties with help from the Commonwealth. -
The Loss
Nelson was arrested again for bombing goverments. They said that he was part of the African Nation Congress, SInce he bombed the goverments though, he would have to spend the rest of his life in prison. -
The Betrayal
The Primme Minster says that Rhodesia broke away from England. Great Britian says that if they want Independence, then they have to let some blacks in the goverment. Though Rhodesia said that they wouldn't have any blacks, just white in the goverment. -
The Left Out
Since there was an aparteid, the United Nations made kicked South Africa out. They also said that they wouldn't let them back in, until they canceld the aparteid. -
The Massacure
In 1976 600 students died from the police. The students started to rebel against a better education for blacks. After a while the police came and they killed 600 people. They used bullets and tear gas. -
The Beating
Steve Bilko is taken to prison when he was protesting against the aprteid. He died in prison by the police. His death was caused when the police beat him again, and again, and after that he died from severe brain damage. -
The Album
On 1985 a musician named Steven Vann Zandt startes to make a group of musicians that feel that the apaarteid should go away. He decides to make an album called Sun City. The album has songs that go against the aparteid in Africa. -
The Hope
In 1991 Africa decided to put an end to Aparteid, and they also made Mandela president. They also made a new forum that was led by Mandela and Klerk, and they decided that they would make a new constitution. -
The Comeback
On this The African National Congress won the election against South Africa. They won about 70% of the votes. A man named Thabo Meki wan in second term. -
The Replacement
The National Commite of Africa takes out Mbeki as their leader. They get Jacob Zuma and they make him their leader. They said that they replaced him, because he was in control for about ten years. -
The Call Back
Zuma was given the opportunity to be the leadr of the National Congress. He took the opportunity and he made sure to protest aginst the police who killed about 34 people. -
The Death
One this date Nelson Mandela died when he was just 95 from an ill. He got ill from a lung infection. Everyone in Africa was sad, but they were also happy, because they would always celebrate. -
The Attack
South Africa was attecked, becuase of their immigrants. A lot of people died, and most of them that died were from other countries. As time passed more people starting to get mad about the immigrants. -
