The U.S and the S.U had a fight on the brink of war when Soviet missiles were exposed being hidden in Cuba, but the war was exceeded when the S.U removed their missiles from Cuban ground and the result of this action convinced the U.S to never strike Cuba (or sneakily hide U.S missiles in Turkey). -

Take Over
The U.S backed dictator Fulgencio Batista fled Cuba as Fidel Castro had taken over. Fidel Castro Now as the new general of the Cuban military. -
Trade Sanctions
The U.S had stopped excepting Cuban trades as a result of nationalized properties the U.S owned. This was because of the aggressive behavior of Cuba and us as well. -
The Commercial Embargo of the U.S
A commercial embargo that the U.S created against Cuba has been going on for about 57 years. The commercial embargo is still going on in 2019 but is slowly being removed. -
Exiles Strike Back
Castro announces that his revolution is socialists, but on the 17th of April (the day after), exiled Cubans attempted to invade on the Bay of Pigs. There were well over 100 exiles
