pg 461-464 Paris yells at this slave, Tituba. He then goes in to the woods and sees the girls dancing. he is mad and wants to know how the girls think dancing in the woods is a sort of sport. -
hale questions tituba
pg 472-485 Hale questions Tituba and the confuses to him that sh eis a witch. The police were told Tituba has een the one performing rituals on the girls. Titba could be punished for this, she could be burned. -
the unraveling of a home
pg 487-493 Proctors enters his home after being in the woods and gets into an argument with wife, Elizabeth. The two continue arguing and then start questioning each other. As Proctor tells Elizabeth to stay in a women's place Mary walks in and interrupts them. -
Witchcraft among us
pg 487-493 once hale is introduced he tells them that Rebecca is charged with witchcraft. While they are questioning the women the men started to debate on the devil. They then start to question one's position. -
Court of the devil
Determined to save is wife, Giles is till arguing his evidence. In pure anger he threatens the life of Putnam, causing Danforth to step in and calm them down. Mary comes out with Abigail and Abigail tells everyone she is a witch. -
Abigail confronts Proctor
pg 465-471 When Abigal goes to Proctor to talk about their affair he tells he that it is over. Proctor gave into the temptation by cheating on his wife. He cannot continue because if it gets out his good name will be ruined forever. -

pg 505-511 Judge Hathorne is questioning the girls for dancing around the fire. Once the women say they are not witches Giles comes in with evidence. He argues with both the judge and the governor to save his wife. -
Occult powers unheard
pg 518- 525 Abigail tells everyone that Mary is a witch because she is still obsessed with Proctor. The other girls team up with Abigail and together they trick everyone else in tho thinking Mary really is a witch. She tells them a bird is there about to strike the girls. -
Order in the court
pg 499-503 Cheever is trying Elizabeth for witchcraft. Abigail did this because she is in love with Proctor still. Alliances wane, trust is tested and lies and being told. -
God's vanity
Elizabeth is questioned and John is brought in. While questioning John he confesses and is proven not guilty. When they ask for his confession in writing John denies. -
the end of the beginning of the end
pg 527-230 As the curtain raises Elizabeth is in jail. The judge and the governor are still questioning people trying to get confessions. All the girls are tired and 12 people are already dead. -
Prideful doubt
pg 534-539 Proctor is unwilling to sign the paper. He knows signing the paper will end his god name. He sign the paper, destroys it and kills himself because of pride.
