The Confederate States of America is formed with South Carolina, Missisipi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas. A few states eventually join in time. Within a month, Lincoln is sworn in as President.

Shots are fired by the confederacy at Fort Sumter towards the union. Basically setting up the civil war we know today. Within the same month, Lincoln issues a blockade against southern ports.

A long and bloody battle goes down in gettysburg and truely spells 'trouble' for the Confederacy. After a massive loss in Gettysburg, the south has the tables turned on them for the remainder of the war.

After lincoln had been assassinated and after several brutal attempts during th war. All those in the confederacy who remain had no other option but to secede. The 13th amendment was later put into place and America came together once again. Thus, ending the civil war, as well as South Carolina's team up with the condfederacy.
