The southern states- South Carolina, Mississpi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas all leave to go be independent. The south gets to fight on their land which is an advantage. -
Robert Lee Leaves Union
Robert Lee was asked to lead the Union but turned it down because he wanted to fight for his native Virginia. This hurts the Union and made the South gain a great leader. -
South eats Union Civillians lunches
The confederates after the victory of Bull run sees Union civillians running away and decides to eat their lunches. Here they get to eat better food than what they have, this is an advantage. -
Victory at Bull Run
This was the first major battle and made it a shocking battle. This was a first win for the Rebels. This is an advantage to the South because they had their spirits up lifted and confidence from that day. -
Victory at Wilson Creek
The battle at Wilson creek was a huge victory. They wanted to see what was the loyalty of Missouri. Nothing changed after this victory but still had confidence. -

Stonewall becomes a Confederate legend. The advantage is killing more, and getting supplies. -

Another win at Bull Run for the South
This victory was an advantage for the South, gaining up confidence to fight and win. This cleared way for invasion of the North. -
Fredericksburg
WIn for the South at Fredericksburg leads the North to change leaders. This is an advantage because they do not know him as well to lead them into war. -

Here Lincoln signs the new draft law. This is an advantage for the Union to gain more men and go into battle. It increases a strong military force for the North. -
Stonewall is dead!
This is an advantage because they no longer have a great leader! Yeah! -
Gettysburg
This is a victory for the North and is great for the North to kill the men attacking. They got rid of more men and stood their ground. -
Confederacy Splits
The split between the confederacy helps the Union so now all the must do is conquer one. This advantage is great for the North, getting closer to defeating the South. -
Chattanooga
The Union wins here. The advantage here is spliting the Confederacy more since now the North has control of a key southern city. -

Grant given command of the Union armies makes the potential of the Union armies better. -
Farragut captures key port of Mobile Bay
This advantage is good for the north because we have taken over the sea and can win anywhere in the sea. It forces the Union toward Atlanta, Georgia. -
Sherman captures Atlanta
This was an advantage because the North made the South evacuate. They took their supplies and everything making them have another advantage. -
Lincoln Re-elected
This is an advantage for the North because he is a wise leader who wants to lead the North into a win. -
Sherman's March
This march by Sherman is suppose to make the Confedercy split again and makes him a great leader for the North. -

Federals take Confederate Capital: Richmond
This is good for the Noth because it makes the Southerns run to the west. -
Saylor's Creek
This is good for the North because it means they don't have to fight too many men that are left. Many men died here. -
Lee Surrenders to Grant
This is good for the North because it means that they have won! The rebels got to keep their arms and private horses. -
Lincoln Dies
The night before Lincoln was shot and he is now dead. The war is over so it's not too bad that he was killed but they all still lost a great leader. This now means that it can be a fresh start for everyone. -
CSA President Captured
This is good that Davis is captured because it means that the Confederacy is now dead. That offically means the North has really won!
