A disagreement between two disagreeing political parties. One was an army of democrats led by Lenin they called themselves "Bolsheviks". It ended in 1923 to lenin's favor. -
Post damn conference
A meeting held between Stalin, Churchill, and Truman trying to end WWll. They decided that Germany would pay for the countries it had invaded, but Stallin wanted half of them. When the post damn agreement was created, they threatened to attack japan if they did not surrender. -

After refusal for surrender by Japan, the U.S and Soviet Union joined together to take them out of WWll. They were used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan . -

A treaty between north america states (29) and Europe. It is an agreement to protect each other from communist take over. -

He was a man who led the Soviet Union during the cold war. He was the first secretary of the communist party. He tried to maintain peace between the west, however instigated the Cuban missile crisis. -

It was multiple hearings of senate McCarthy for the multiple accusations of the United states army being involved with communist actions. (government subversion) -
Vietnam War
A war fought between french ruled Vietnam and communist ruled Vietnam.Southern Vietnam was turned to communist rule after japan invaded in WWll. IT was a very brutal war and there was over 3 million casualties, and over half were civilians . -
The Berlin Wall
A wall that divided eastern and western Germany. It symbolized the lack of freedom given to the people by the communists. It essentially began the start of the cold war. -
Fall of the Berlin Wall
The fall of the Berlin wall was a result to the end of the cold war. The communist party leader at the time decided that he would allow people from eastern Berlin to cross over to western Berlin. This soon made other communist leaders to give up there communist rule.
