An argument breaks out between colonists and British soldiers. Soldiers fire into a crowd, killing 5 men.

Colonists bring the soldiers to trial. Two of the soldiers are convicted of killing people in the crowd.

Parliament passes the Tea Act which makes British tea cheaper than colonial tea.

Colonists, disgused as Indians, sneak onto three ships filled with tea and dump it into the Boston Harbor.

1. Boston Harbor is closed to trade
2. Quartering Act is passed- saying that colonists MUST house English soldiers in their homes
3. Massachusetts' charter is suspended-taking away the rights of colonists.
