Captain Hopkins visted many African leaders in order to develop relationships. He also traded with European merchants and soldor bought slaves to and from other ships.

Capatin Hopkins bought his last slave and purchased 196 slaves in all. He slod 9 to other traders on the coast and 20 others died.

The death toll began to rise when uprising occured. The crew suppresed the uprising by firing guns at the slaves kiling 8 and injuring several others.

The Sally ended up losing 88 of the 196 slaves purchased. This was economically disasterous for the Brown Brothers but they still remained cheerful.
