    The first battle in the American Revolution, the Patriots were outnumerd by about 200 British soldiers. No one knows who shot the first shot, but it was "The Shot Heard Around The World". This battle was a Colonial victory.

    Bunker Hill
    This battle took place on Breed's Hill and the Patriots were outnumbered by over 600 British Soldiers. A British soldier said "We have ... learned one melancholy truth, which is, that the Americans, if they were equally well commanded, are full as good soldiers as ours." after this battle. This battle ended in a loss for the Patriots.

    This battle is also known as Battle of Brooklyn. George Washington wanted to capture the New York Bay but the colonists were outnumberd and this battle resulted in a loss for the Patriots.

    Washington outnumberd the Hessians and by attacking the garrison at night created a suprise attack on the Hessians. Washington split his force and sent half to flank the Hessians. This battle resulted in a win for the Patriots and the French came over to help the Patriots.

    The British thought they had Wahington trapped but, Wahington had 500 troops stay behind and keep the fires going. The British thought Washington dissapeared and Washington did a suprise attack on the British. Resulting in an American victory.

    Saratoga
    British officer John Burgoyne was overconfident and had carriages of heavy silver and peasents. Benedict Arnold one of Washington's best sharpshooters and his team killed the British Scouts with there long ranged rifles. They team killed officers and John Burgoyne surrenderd ten days later. The Patriots won the battle of Saratoga.

    This battle took place in New Jersey with the British outnumberd by 1,000 soldiers. In this battle some soldiers died from heat stroke. This battle was resulted in a draw for both sides.

    British soldiers retreated to Yorktown to reequip them and then the Patriots & French trapped the British in Yorktown from land and sea forceing the British to surrender and makeing a win for the Patriots.
