The French Indian War
The war mainly took place in the French territories in the United states. The Native Americans and the French teamed up against the British to get the British out of their land. -
Treaty of Paris
France lost all of their territories in North America because of their inability to win the war against the British. The war didn't bring the colonists and the British closer together. Their victory actually pulled them farther apart. -
The Sugar Acts
The Sugar Acts made it riskier for smugglers to smuggle molasses which is used to make rum and it also raised the taxes on the colonists that wanted to buy rum so they could get a larger amount of money. -
The Stamp Act
The stamp act was passes by the British Parliament which made colonists pay taxes on and and every peice of paper that they buy. these taxes were passed so that it could pay for about 10,000 British troops would be sent to the North American frontier. -
The Tea Act
The Tea Act was passed by British Parliament and it forced the North American colonists to buy tea from The British East India Company Tea which gave the British even more profit if the plan worked. This was the last straw for majority of the colonists. A small group of them dressed up as mohawk Indians and threw 92,000 pounds worth of tea by throwing it in the water in Boston Harbor. -

British Parliament raised the taxes of tea that went into North America. The colonists were outraged because of this and ships that brought tea into the United States weren't allowed to harbor because of the unfair law British Parliament passed. -

New England farmers and Merchants almost let the United States afll into a civil war. The rebellion resulted in the creation of The Constitution of the United States. -
