Africville
Still discriminated against, the slaves that were freed from the south formed a town of there own inNova Scotia. At its hight the population reached 400, many familys but some larger familes through out. Living wasnt amazing, things from bigger cities suited unsafe for location close to the larger city was placed far to close to Africville. Africville was demolished on Jan 2, 1970 and everyone who lived there slowly faded away. -

The children born in the "Baby Boom" period are now growing up in the 70's and going into there late teen years and then on to being of age. From there, went on to grow up and aquire roles in society. Being parents and taking on life long careers. The Baby boomer group seemed to bring there own sense of entitlement, starting a new age starting with equal rights and freedoms shared. -

A group of activists formed a group and a boat to prevent and protest against nuclear bomb testing in Alaska. The boat was named The GreenPeace. The reason Canadians got involved when it was american testing was because for overal peace and because the testing was close enough to Vancouver to where the residence felt at risk. -
