This event is important because it killed 2,997 people, and is one of the top two terrorist attacks ever on America. This event changed the course of history because ever September 11th, we have a moment of silence, to think about how bad this day really was. When it happened people were mortified, half of New York City was covered in ashes and debris. -

This event shaped the future because it has everything to do with our daily lives. every year on September 11th we have a moment of silence. our airport security is way better, and the U.S. will always be more prepared after this event. Nobody will ever forget about what happened on that day. -

I would want to attend this event because if this event would have never happened, the U.S. would never be as prepared for more attacks like it. Without this event we would have one less thing to learn about in school. The only ways I would change it would be to keep it from happening. -

On this day in 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.

The Boston marathon bombing para. 1-2
On April 15,2013, two bombs blew up near the finish line of the Boston marathon on Boylston St. At least 3 were killed, and 264 were injured. This was a terrorist attack on a very popular event. The bomb blew up right as people were crossing the finish line.
This is important because it killed people, and caused some to lose heir limbs. The streets turned chaotic with people trying to take in the horrible attack. It changed the world by making it even more aware then it already was. -

This event shaped the future, because nobody will ever forget this event. The terrorists bombed one of the biggest events in the U.S.A. This event could have inspired other terrorists to try to destroy important places or events in the future, or to kill people in the future.
I would want to attend this event, but I wouldn't at the same time. I would want to prevent this event , but without getting hurt at the same time. I would just want to prevent this horrible event.
