    Many people were depressed and nothing was the same after the assasination of president Kennedy. Many people gathered around to watch the news about him.

    There was a decline in the original sitcoms and more urban shows aired during this time.

    The VCR is used in the United States

    T.v's now have parental controls, sleep timers, and picture in picture features.

    DVD players were created along with flat screens for the "theatre in home" look.
