Google play replaced the android market in 2012. The play store created a one stop shop for their "marketplace," music and also eboookstore. Google play is still in use today and most don't remember the previous name once used. -
first apple watch
The Apple watch is a wearable device created in 2015. The ease of use and ability to control your mobile device from your wrist become extremely popular. The Apple watch rapidly has become a staple of Apple enthusiast since its creation, and in 2022 was estimated 115 million people would use a version of this smart watch. -
AR & VR
AR & VR have been around far longer than we all realize, both first being introduced in the mid 1980's. The two did not become widely popular until embraced by the gaming industry around 2016. -
AI
Artificial Intelligence or AI became largely humanized in 2019, with AI features such as organic feedback and intuitive search engines. In todays technological climate we utilize AI almost daily with some features such as chatgpt and photo enhancements applications that have become extremely popular since 2019.
