    The first phonograph was made my Thomas Edison in 1887.

    The first jukebox was a gramophone put into a glass case that had refitted coin slot, in the Palais Royale Saloon in San Francisco. The machine had no amplication and patrons had to listen through 4 tubes.     !0 years afte rthe Phonograph the Gramophone was invented. Emile Berliner invented it. The first records were made out of glass. But then zinc and plastic., It could only be played once though.     Cd stands for compact discs. It started out as an idea in the meeting room of Phillips and Sony. The first cd ever made was in August 17, 1982, but took a white to hit the shelves of stores.     In 1997, developer Tomislav Uzelac of advanced Multimedia Products invented the AMP MP3 Playback engine. In 1998 it became so you could download free music from your computer onto your mp3 player. Some advantages was that it was free and easy thanks to Winamp on the computer.
