    This computer was constructed in 1951 and was labeled the 1st "general purpose" computer. It was first distributed to Manchester University by Ferranti Mark.

    In 1953, John von Neumann, a world famous mathematician, created the Johnniac computer. An ongoing expansive computer, this piece of technology inspired the ability for multiple users to access and operate the machine simultaneously.
