    In 1953, John von Neumann, a world famous mathematician, created the Johnniac computer. An ongoing expansive computer, this piece of technology inspired the ability for multiple users to access and operate the machine simultaneously.

    1956 would be the year the first keyboard input operation was explored. Prior, punch cards or paper tape were the ways operators would communicate with devices. This sparked the convenience factor keyboards allowed computer users.
