Calder and Petra meet in Miss Husseys 6th grade class at University School and are seen in powells together.

Secret Code

Oct 3, 2004

Calder recieves a a coded letter that he and Tommy had made. Tommy explained how his friend Frog went missing.

Halloween Night

Petra had dreamed about the lady writing without ever seeing it and she had dressed up as her for Halloween. Calder had dressed up as a "F" pentominoe piece.

Blue M&M

Calder and Petra decide to eat a blue M&M when they hear or see something mysterious.

The Lady Writing

Petra and Calder find out that The Lady Writng gets stolen.

Police Protection

Mrs. Sharpe had asked the police for special protection and the cops arrested Miss Hussey. Miss Hussey had then showed the police her letter and they both had police protection

Miss Husseys Broken Arm

Miss Hussey breaks her arm and came to school in a sling. She said that her power had gone out and that she had tripped and fell.

Tea at Mrs. Sharpes

Calder and Petra are invited for tea at Mrs. Sharpes house. They figure out that she had LO! before Petra.

Raising Money

Calder and Petra raise money to help bring Tommy home since Fred left him and his mom.

The Fake

Calder and Petra were looking in the basement of the school when they find a painting that might be The Lady Writing. It was not the lady they were looking for, it was done by a second grader.

Broken Bones

Mrs. Sharpe broke her leg. She told Calder and Petra that she had fallen down the stairs.

The Envelope

While Mrs. Sharpe was in the hospital she gave Calder and Petra the responsibility to deliver an evelope. The letter was adressed to Isabel Hussey (Miss Hussey).

Frog has been found

Calder had recieved news that frog has been found! He was in Washington D.C with a relative of his. Tommy got a postcard from Frog of The Lady Writing.

The Staircase

The staircase leading up in Delia Dell Hall had birds, mice, and lizards. It gives Calder and Petra a clue to look under.

Manic

The theif that had stolen The Lady Writing wrote another letter saying that he would burn the painting if they would not tell the truth. The theif claims that not all of vermeers paintings are really his.

Twelves

Calder and Petra both are like a puzzle with twelves. They were both born 12-12 and turning twelve. They are turning twelve on the twelfth day of the twelfth month. And there are twelve pentominoe pieces.

The Painting is Found

Glitter Man

Fred is the theif that stole The Lady Writing. He had a customer that would pay sixty million dollars for the painting. Freds real name is Xavier Glitts also known as "glitter man".
