Jackson gets caught in friendly fire and is seriously wounded. He died a few days later in a hospital. General Robet E. Lee described him as irreplacable.

The Stonewall Momorial Cemetery is located in Lexington,Virginia. A statue honoring Jackson was dedicated in 1891. In addition to Jackson's body their are 140 confederate soliders and 2 goveners.
