    DeVaca dicovers Texas
    they were left florida to find gold and then would meet back up with the ship. scince they people didnt see them they thought they had died so they left them stranded. they build wood boats to get back to cuba but landed on galveston where they shipwecked with only 80 survivors. De Vaca and the 80 suvivors where aided by the krankawas for 4 years untill they were back to full health. he met the Karankawas, Couhilteons, and the Jumano indian tribes.

    The purpose of this journey, was to study the land that they had been told that it was full of gold. Esteban was later killed by the Zunes for demanding their wpmen and food. He reported that he too had seen the city filled with gold and that it looked larger than Mexico city.

    Coronado's expedition
    The two cities he found were, Texas - Palo Duro, and the Arizona Grand Canyon. His guide was an indian named Turk and was not helping them. Coronado and others figured out that Turk had taken them through 5 states hoping that they would all perish in the harsh conditions. they made Turk dig his own grave and then coronado strangled him to death.
