    The USS Maine was a battle ship sent to the Havana Harbor. It's main mission was to protect the U.S citizens as well as to help the conflict between the Cubans and Spanish. On this very day, the USS Marine exploded and killed 266 men on board. No one knew the definite reason to this cause, however America automatically blamed Spain.
