Atlantic Slave Trade
The Atlantic Slave Trade was the buying, transporting, and selling of Africans for slavery in America. Buying slaves from Africa was popular because their skin color made it easy to find them if they ran away. This is a social event because it has to do with how people interact with a different race. -

Spanish Invasions
Spanish explorer Hernando Cortes invaded the Aztec. Cortes abused the Aztecs and took over their land. The Spaniards also brought diseases that killed off the Aztec. This is a social event because it has to do with people in groups living together. -

The Mayflower Voyage was when the pilgrims came to America for freedom. Once in America, the settlers had to start a new life.They also had to live their in peace with the Natives. It's a social event because it was interacting with other people. -

The Virginia Slave Code stated,"all servants imported or brought into the country shall be accounted and be slaves...if a slave resists his master...such slave shall happen to be killed...the master shall be free of all punishment...as if such accident never happened." it is a social event because it is a group of people figuring out the issues with ethnisity in their country and fixing it. -

The colonists in Britain's American Colonies fought to be an independent nation. It's a social event because two groups of people interacting with each other. It gave the colonies a sense of Nationalism, which united them. -
National Assembly
During the Enlightenment, the Third Estate revolted because they were not happy with their role in government. They formed the NAtional Assembly. This is a social event because it has to do with the Third Estates social status. -
Slave Revolt
In St. Dominigue, 1791 was the biggest slave revolt in history. 500,000 slaves relolted against their french owners because they were donebeing treated harshly and discriminated againt because their color. it is a social event because it is a group of slavesfacing an issue with ethnicity. -
Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution was when machines started being used. It was a social event because it increased population, took jobs from farmers, and people moved to cities to work. Also, the middle class became more wealthy. It changed the social system and everyday life. -
