  • French and Indian War

    I was a fight with the British and The Colonists versus the French and Indians.There was really no winner and it caused proclamation of 1763.

    (red)It Drew a line down the Appalachian Mountains that sepparated territory from the colonists and the French and Indians. This just caused the colonists to not expand across the boarder. The colonists didn't really protest it, they just ignored it.

    (red)It was a law that caused the colonists to pay for stamps that they were required to put on paper if they wanted to use it. The colonists were very mad because they had no say in how this happened. The colonists protested this heavily by boycotting British goods. The British lowered the prices of things but the colonists still wouldn't buy there goods.

    This made the colonists house 2 British solders and take care of their needs.This lead to fighing between the British and the homeowners and in 1776 the acts expired
  • Townshend Acts

    The Townshend acts were a series of four acts laws by the British to pay for the expenses of the French and Indian War. The colonists protested by boycotting goods and the British reacted by lowering the prices of some off the goods.

    (Both red and blue)Some British soldiers got backed into an alley by angry collonists and fought there way out. This caused chaos in the colonies and was the start of a revolution.

    The British put a massive tax on Brittish tea. This lead to the colonists boycotting basicly all British goods. The British government lowered the price off tea emmensely but the colonists still wouldn't buy it.

    (blue)What happened was colonists dumped $2,338,100 milon dolors worth of tea into the Boston Harbor. This caused the Intolerable Acts.

    The acts took away Massachusetts self governing and basicly gave way to the American Revolutionary war. The colonists revolted immediatly and the Brittish really didn't react

    The First Continental Congress was a meeting of delegates from twelve of the colonies to discuss what to do about the Intolerable Acts. It caused the colonies to basically prepare for the American Revolutionary war.
  • The Battle of Lexington and Concord

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord
    This was the battle that started the Revolutionary War, British troops went from Boston to Concord to try and seize weapons from the colonists. Basically the same thing happened in Lexington were the British tryed to seize weapons but he colonists in both locations fought back and overwhelmed the British.
