In order to get better, you gotta work harder outside of practice. You gotta put in the extra 30 min to an hour to become successful. You gotta take the extra time at home to work instead of sitting around.

I need to be physically strong to be successful to play the game of baseball. I need to put the time and effort into gaining strength and endurance to make it throughout the whole game, I can't be tired halfway through the game.

I need to take care of my body, in particular, my arm. I'm a pitcher and in order to go deep in the game, your arm has to stay strong and not absorb injuries. After every game, I need to stretch and ice it down to keep it strong.

Baseball is a mental sport. You can't let bad plays affect the rest of your game. You need to move forward in the game and make the next play. There will be other moments in the game to make a play.

All the hard work outside of the game needs to be put forth into the game. You have to show your skills in the game. It's pointless to put in the work and not do anything in the game.

My whole life I've played baseball and its always been a goal of mine to get a scholarship somewhere for baseball. I will have a scholarship by completing the steps outlined.
