  • South Carolina Slave Codes

    In South Carolina it was not allowed to their masters property unless accomponied by a white person

  • Slavery Transport Ban

    Pensilvania bans impotation

  • Rhode Island Prohibits

    They prohibit the impotation of African and native american slaves

  • Virginia Slave code

    Were not allowed to work on sundays or over 15 hours a day in the summer and 14 in the winter. Not taugh to wright

  • 3/5 Compromise

    The 3/5 Compromise was made so that the southeners wouldnt get to much power over the north so they made every 5 slaves count as 3 white men

  • Slave Trade act

    This act was made to stop the slave trades in the south

  • Alabama fines those who teach slaves

    In alabama it was illegal to teach slaves to read or wright and those who did were fined up to $250-$500 who were caught

  • Alabama Slavery Code

    Slave status and the rights is by the owner and the power is in there hands

    Punishments such as death, hanging, and whipping were not considered as murder.Had three sections and fifty-nine seperate amenments

    Prevented slaves from being free by crossing into northern territory

    This amanment abollishes slavery in the U.S

    Prohibits discrimination of race or color of skin
