  • Bloody Sunday

    Tsar's imperial guards opened fire and masscared 100s of peaceful protesetors when they were trying to deilver the pettion to the winter palace
  • Revolution of 1905

    Strikes and uprisings and looting arose after the events of Bloody Sunday, forcing Tsar Nicholas ll to issue the October Manifesto which promised reform and a parliment (the Duma)
  • Russia Enters World War 1

    Russia entered world war 1, doing so they suffered massive military losses and many supplies shortages back in Russia
  • Febuary Revolution

    Protests over food and supplies increased, leading to the resignation of Tsar Nicholas ll
  • Creation of Provisional Government

    Duma created the first Provisional Government which marked a end to the czarist autocracy.
  • The November Revoultion

    The Bolshevik party, aided by german money and a powerful private army overthrew the already crumbling Provincial Government
  • Russian Civil War

    Anti-Bolshevik forces aided by the Entree Powers tried to overthrow the Bolshevik Party, but failed.
  • New Econominc Policy

    Lenin introduced the New Economic Policy after economic collapse and peasent uprisings which allowed private trade and farming, easing war communism policies, which stabilized Russia
