The men smelled horrible it had been more than a year now that they'd not taken baths they wewree off to Elephant Island. In the middle of their journey they stopped and made camp on an ice floe while they slept the floe cracked and a man fell in. Shack picked him up out of the water.

The men finally reached open water they were closer to Elephant Island! They became very thirsty they had swollen tongues.

They saw Elephant Island from a distance. iI looked totally barren.

They reached Elephant Island still it was barren. Soon after (5 days),Shackleton and five men were off to South Georgia Island (800 miles).
