    Germany signed the Nazi-Soviet Nonaggression Pact in order to prevent war on two fronts. The two nations secretly agreed to both invade and divide Poland and recognize each others territory ambitions
  • Germany invades Poland

    A massive German blitzkrieg hit Poland from 3 sides and due to new military technology the attack was successful. The assault, coordinated by tanks and planes broke through Polands defenses and destroyed its airforce
