    3 months after they are tried and sentenced to the death penalty, the first of ten balck boys, Willie Stokes, is executed and the boys report nightmares and sleepless nights.

    Ruby Bates (one of the two girls who accused the Boys of rape) becomes a surprise witness for the defendent. She denys that any rape happened and that she was with Victoria Price for the whole train ride.

    Throughout the year of 1937, there were many things that happened in the Scottsboro Trials. First of all Thomas Knight dies in May. Following, the thrid trial of Clarence Norris, a trial for Andy Wright ends, and a trial for Charley Weems ends. Convicted is Norris of the death sentnce, Wright of 99 years, and Weems 75 years. Ozie Powell pleads guilty to assaulting Blalock and is later sentenced to 20 years in prison, his rape charges are dropped. The last four Scottsboro Boys' rape charges drop.

    Two of the Boys, Andy Wright and Clarence Norris are paroled for the first of two times that they are going to be paroled. Later on, the two violate there parole and return to prison but will again later be paroled. Andy Wright is sent back in 1946, and Clarence Norris was sent back in 1944.

    Haywood Patterson in 1948 successfully escaped prison. By mid june in 1950 after eluding the police for the previous 2 years Patterson was caught by the FBI. However eventually Alabama leaves attempts of trying to imprison him once again.

    Another death
    7 years after the death of Haywood Patterson died from cancer, another one of the Scottsboro Boys passes away. Roy Wright had joined the army and upon return caught his wife cheating. After killing her in rage, he shot himself.
  • Pardoned

    Pardoned
    Clarence Norris, the last living of the Scottsboro Boys is pardoned by the Governor of Alabama George Wallace. By this time he was not wanted by Alabama authorities anymore, and was officially declared not guilty.
  • Victoria

    In the year of 1977, Victoria Price (one of the accusers of rape against the Boys) filed a lawsuit. She filed against defamation and invasion of privacy against NBC for making the broadcast of "Judge Horton and the Scottsboro Boys". Her claim was dissmissed after her twelfth time in court. Later in 1982 she passed away.
  • All Gone

    All Gone
    After being reduced to a life sentence in 1938 is paroled again in 1946. In the year 1976 Clarence Norris is pardoned by the Alabame Govenor in which he lived out his life till 1989 at the age of 76. He was the last of the Scottsboro Boys.
