Transferred to Lincoln High after assembly conflict

Sal Castro joins the Chicano Youth Leadership Conferences-- helping assemble La Piranya Cafe as their headquarters

Wilson High walks out b/c of a school play and the next day to protest the ban against wearing their hair long

protesting the inequality of opportunities of higher education for latinos and other minorities

Castro aressted along w/ 12 Brow Berets

Castro is charged w/ 15 counts of conspiracy to disturb the peace and 15 counts conspiracy to disrupt public schools

Castro and the Brown Berets or the LA 13 are released with charges dropped
