Sudan/Darfur Genocide
The Darfur genocide began on February 24, 2003, when more than millions of people including women, men and children were brutally killed, massacred and victims of assault in the most horrifying ways possible and that included rape. The government-funded armed Arab militias were controlling the genocide as they wanted to target ethnic African groups. (Aka Janjaweed). The remaining villagers of Darfur were forced to flee across the border as they have lost everything due to the violence.
