In 1951 he got a job at an advertising Agency called “D’arcy” when he was 22
years old. -
Between 1960 and 1965 he wrote two tv
shows: “Estudio de Pedro Vargas” and “Comicos y canciones”. -
In 1968 he signed a contract with TIM television, where "the super geniuses of the square table" and "citizen Gómez" were born.

In 1968 he married Graciela Fernández and had 6 children with her.

In 1970 two of his best shows tv “Chespirito” and “el chapulín colorado” were on air every monday at 8pm in México.

In 1971 started his most famous tv show “el chavo”, a childrens show with which he gained more fame.

In 1973 "chespirito" and "El chavo" were on the air in almost all of Latin America. Their popularity places them at the top of the rankings.

In 1975 the ratings level of Roberto’s shows in México were the best.
