In 1763 the French and Indian war ended when boundaries made by the UK. It gave land in North america owned by france to Great Brittain. -

This was an act that raised revenue by giving taxes to the Americans. This was so important because it was the first tax enforced. -

This act made it so colonists had to pay tax on anything with a stamp. The americans started getting mad. -
Townshend Acts of 1767
This act made colonists pay tax for goods being imported from england. However the colonists began getting very upset because of all the taxes and how they had no say in it. -

The goal was to limit the amount of tea that the British East India Company had in storage. -
