    Banned all colonial settlement West of the Appalachian mountains. Was issued to keep colonists and Indians appart. Also England could rule the Colonists easier if they were close to each other.

    Happened when the East India Trading company had a surplus of tea in which Britain would sell to the colonists for a bargain price. However the taxes on tea were still high so this angered the colonists and lead to the Boston tea party.
