    Rating: I rate this as a 8 because the debt from the war made the colonies pay taxes.

    Picture King George III said people can not settle west of the Applachian mountion.
    Rating: I rate this as a 8 because this limits the growth of the colonies.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    Picture This act forces the colonists to have a stamp on every printed document. The colonist boycotted British goods making the act repealed.
    Rating: I rate this as a 7 because paper was important back then and was used as a way to communicate so this act had a heavy impact.
  • The Boston Massacre

    Picture The Boston Massacre was a small clash between the colony and the British troops that resulted in 5 deaths. The Sons of Liberty exaggerated and used it as propaganda.
  • Bostin Tea Party

    Picture The Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawk Indians, and threw hundreds of cases of tea off of the boats.
    Rating: I rate this as a 8 because for them to do this it means they're tired of the British. This protest serves as a stepping stone to the revolution.

    Picture The British put a tax on tea. This allow the British East India Company the right to ship tea without paying the tax making it cheaper than the colony's tea.
    Rating: I rate this as a 8 because tea was a major good and putting a tax on it made the colony protest resulting in the Boston Tea Party.

    Picture A meeting was held in Philadelphia. The delegates sent a document to King George III wanting their rights given back.
    Rating: I give it a 8 because King George refused giving their rights back making it a step closer to the revolution.

    Picture As punishment for the Boston Tea Party the British made 3 new acts for the colony.
    1. No trial by jury in the colonies
    2. Quatering Act - feed and house soldiers
    3. Blockade of Boston - no ships allowed to enter or leave Boston harbor
    Rating: I rate it as a 9 because these acts limits lots of freedom.

    Picture Delegates meet up to discuss the battles in Massachusetts. Most delegates decide to suppport independence and set up a committee to write a declaration.
    Rating: I rate this as 1 because I don't see how this relates to the revolution.

    Picture British troops believe weapons were being stockpiled in Concord. On the way they were confronted by farmers and the militia.
    Rating: I rate it as a 6 because the British are kind of invading their personal belongings.This made the people mad.

    Picture A document declaring the US to be independent of the British. Thomas Jefferson is the author. He presents his argument with ideas taken from Locke and Rousseau.
    Rating: I rate this as 10 because this is where they're free from the British making the revolution a sucess.
