    The French and Indian War.The French and Indian War. This event is imprortant because it changed many lives and it completly changed America, the land scape. This war was form 1754-1763. It began due to land disputes among the British and French. This made way for more British settlements.

    Proclamation of 1763 It was important because it made the colonies begin to not like the British rule. Also, it waswhen the Britsish told the colonsts not to settle on Native American land, but colonists thought they had the right to go where ever. They ignored the british.

    Stamp Act The Stamp Act was an act for granting and applying certain stamp duties. In the British colonies and the plantations in America. They put the stamp act in affect due to debts in England because of the Frencha nd indiann war and it angered the colonists. This angered the colonists more.

    Townshend Act The Townshend Act was a series of laws passed in the beginning of 1767. It helped because it made the colonists even more angry.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre The Boston Massacre was when a mob ofcolonists were surrounding some British solders and they were fighting and when the British solders started feeling very threatened tehy shot at the colonists, killing five people. Because the colonists acted like it was the British fault so the colonists started hating the British even more.

    Tea ActThe British kind of made it to where the colonists could not buy tea from any people other than the British without spending loads of cash. The British essesentially wanted to get more business. The colonists reacted by refusing to unload the tea, and thought that it was another act of taxation without representation.

    Boston Tea Party There were colonists that snuck aboard a tea ship and threw off all of the tea. They were trying to send a message to the British about how they will NOT pay all of the unneccesary taxes. This act angered the British.

    Intolerable Acts These were a series of acts passed by England to punish Boston for the Boston Tea Party. The colonists were angered by this, because they didn't have any representation in Parliament. Among these acts was the Quartering Act which made the colonists have to give british soldiers room and board, due to the recent increase in miliatary. This helped lead to Revolution because it further increased the resentment towards Britain among the colonists.
  • Lexington and Concord

    Lexington and Concord
    Lexington and Concord This was the battle that kicked off the American Revolutiion. The British General, General Thomas Gage sent in 700 soldiers to destroy guns and amunition that the colonists had stored at Concord. They also planned to arrest John hancock and Samuel Adams, two key leaders in the revolution. Paul Revere rode to alert the colonists that the Britsih were coming.

    dec. of Independence <a href='' >The Declaraion of Independence </a>wasa statement adopted by the thirteen colonies which proclamated there independece from Britain. This elead to the American Revolution because Britian wasnt to happy about having one of there maor econmic sources leave them,
