    The French and Indian War The French and Indian War was a war between the British and the French. Each side was partnered with some American Indian tribes. This lead to the American Revolution because it allowed the British to expand their territory.

    The French and Indian War ended in 1763, as the British won. The French created the Paris treaty which gave the British more land. This relates to the American revolution because the British were in so much debt that they had to cr tax all of the colonies.

    The Proclamation of 1763 cut off the colonists from westward expansion. The colonists were angry about this because they thought they were entitled to the land. This is how it relates to the American Revolution.

    The Intolerable Acts The Intolerabel Acts were acts that the British made to get the British soldiers out of the New World. They also had continued pressing harder taxes on the colonists because they had not representation in Parliment. This is what the colonists wanted and it led to the American Revolution.

The colonists created a mob and stated harassing the British soldiers because they new that the rights gave them one hour until the soldiers could fire. The British thought that they were in danger so they all started firing into the colonists. This relates to the American Revolution because this really made the colonists sick of what the British were getting away with.

    The Tea Act The Tea Act was a law passed by Britain raising taxes on thier tea. The tea usually recieved by the colonists was shipped straight to them and was usually at a bargain price. This was the final spark to the colonists fire. This relates to the American Revolution because the Tea Act continued raising taxes which continued upsetting colonists.

    The Boston Tea Party The Boston Tea Party was a rebellious event against the Brtisih. The "Sons of Liberty" dressed up as Mohawk Indians, boarded three British ships, and dumped fourty five tons of tea into the harbor. This relates to the American Revolution because it was when the colonists finally stood up to the British about the taxes.

    The Battles of Lexington and ConcordLexington and Concord were on April 18th, 1775. The colonists were fighting against the British.This was the infamous battle when Paul Revere told everyone, "The British are coming! The British are coming!"
    This relates to the American Revollution because it was the first time the colonists had actually fought against the British.

    The Declaration of Independance The Declaration of Independance was a document that the colonists wrote that stated they were not ruled by the British anymore, and that they would all be equal. This created present day United States of America. Also, this relates to the American Revolution because it was the ending point. The Americans did not have to listen to the British anymore because they had their own leader; George Washington.
