    The French and Indian war was a long war between the French and the British,Once the war was finally won by the British they were left in debt by the wars exspenses. The colonists werent really the war but they helped the British as much as they could.

    In Britain King George III told colonists could not move west of Appalachian Mountains. King George lll didn’t want to have to keep protecting from Indian attacks. The colonists were angry that the King wouldn’t let them move west of the Appalachians. The colonist’s ignored the Kings command and moved west anyway.

    The Sugar Act was a boycott made by the colonists against sugar products like sugar andmolasses, because the British were taxing those products. The colonists were outraged so they started to boycott sugar and smuggle sugar into the colonies.This helped the out break of war because it made tension between the British and colonists because the colonist's were smuggling sugar products from the West Indies.

    The quartering act was in 1765. This was an act made by the British forcing the colonists to house soliders stationed in the colonies. This helped to the out break of war because the colonists refused to house the British which made the British very angry.

    The Townshend act was a tax on imports like glass, paper, and tea. The colonists felt that NTWR writs voilated their rights. Merchants singed non importation agreements and boycotted the prdoucts. This lead to the out b reak of war becuae the British felt that the colonists were pushing thier luck.

    Boston Massacre The Boston Massacre was a massacre with five victims. The colonists were insulting the british with names and assulting the British with sticks. The British in result of this fired at the colonists in which killed five colonists. Th clonists felt that it was wrong for the british to fire. The British felt that they had the right to fire the colonists because they were threating their saftey. This lead to the out break of war because the colonists were very angry of this bloodshed and unjust.

    Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was in 1773. Th Boston Tea Party was an evernt in which the sons of Liberty dressed as Mohawk indains and snuck onto the British East Indies cargo ships and dumped tea into the harbor. . The sons of Liberty did this because all of the colonists thought they were being tricked when the British suddenly gave them cheaper tea directly from India. This was their way of showing they didnt want it. This made the british very mad which helped to the out break of war.

    The Intolerable Act was an act of punishment to to the colonist for the Boston tea party, THe Bristish bannee town meetings, closed Boston Harbor untill tea was payed for and created a new quarting act. THe colonists were outrage and felt these act were too harsh. This lead to the outbreak of war because other colonies helped MA make the first Continetal Congress which made the British very angry.

    The first Continental Congress was a meeting of reprsentives from 12 of the thirteen colonies, in Philadelphia, PA in September 1774. The men that came to the meeting dicussed how to respond to the Intolerable acts.The men demanded a repeal of the act. They also confirmed that all colonies should train militias and new boycotts.

    Paul Rever's Ride is a famous ride about a man named Paul Rever and how he rode from to Lexington warning the miltia that the British were coming to Concord. Paul Rever wasnt the only one who made this famous ride. Billy Dawes also rode from Boston to Lexington to warn people of the British and Sam Prescott rode from Lexington to Concord to warn of the British. Paul Rever and Billy Dawes also warned Sam Adams and John Adams that the British planed to caputure them.

    Lexinton and Concord was were the first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired. To this day we still dont know who fired the first shots because of the propaganda on each side.
