Italy invades Ethiopia becasue he desired a Second Roman Empire and Ethiopia had defeated Italy years earlier so retribution was on his mind . There was a rising dictator in Germany who though admired him was outshining him and his jealousy tried to push Italy into ventures that eventually they would be unready for and lead to disaster later. -

German reoccupation of the Rhineland
In 1936 Germany sent troops into the Rhineland, which had been demilitarized under the provisions of the Treaty of Versailles. The purpose of remilitarization in 1936 was to show the public in Germany that Hitler was 'putting right' the wrongs of Versailles and also in order to build military installations and fortifications there. -
German Annexation of Austria
Austria had lost WW1 and was split up in parts. Austria itself is German almost the same as Germans. Many Austrians wanted a closer union with Germany, or be a part of Germany in the hope that Austria would revive its past glory or simply to get a better life. So Hitler supported for them. -
German invasion of the Sudetenland
Germany invaded Sudetenland because Hitler knew many Germans lived there,and so he can just simply have their land. The Sudetenland was valuable because it contained virtually all of Czechoslovakia's defenses,which atrracked Hitlers attention.It is mountainous, whereas most of the rest of Czechoslovakia is relatively flat. Once Germany controlled the Sudetenland, it would be relatively easy to conquer the remainder of the country. -
Munich Conference
The Munich Confernece was a conference that the British Prime Minister met with Adolf Hitler to discuss a deal that they could try to work out that Hitler would not invade Czechoslovakia unless Britain supported Germany's plans to takeover the Sudetenland. -
Germany Invades Poland
The reasons that Germany invaded Poland was so that they can give Germans lebensraum in Eastern Europe. He had promised this in Mein Kampf and it was one of his aims in foreign policy. Also To defend the Germans in Poland. One of Hitler's main aims was Grossdeutschland he needed to invade Poland to fulfill this aim,and laat,to oppose communism. -

World War 2 begins.WW2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America. -
Signing of the Triparite
The Tripartite Pact was signed between Italy, Germany and Japan on 27 September 1940. It was an anti American alliance, stating that each country would aid any of the others that was attacked by the USA.
