  • Adolf Hitler joined the NSDAP and made himself the groups leader. He began to talk about his problems with certain groups of people and he eventually tried to overthrow the government.

  • Nazi's created the Enabling Act

    This act gave Hitler the ability to govern his party without having to okay it with the Reichstag first. This created a whole new power for Hitler and his Nazi's.
  • The Nazi's become the only party in Germany

    The Nazi's became the only political party in Germany and forming a new one resulted in imprisonment.
  • Hitler gained the German Army's support

    After killing off his former Nazi leaders Hitler gained the support and trust of the German Army

    After the president's death Hitler assumed control of the entire government and was titled as Fuehrer.
  • Hitler reintroduced the draft

    Once again made a draft in Germany and the following year introduced his Four-Year Plan similar of that of Joseph Stalin.
  • Buffer Zone

    The area between Germany and the western countries off the side of the Rhine River was a buffer zone. The Treaty of Versailles said that no one could have soldiers their but in March of 1936 Hitler broke the treaty and ordered troops there.
  • Austria is taken over

    The Nazi's ruled part of Austria but finally joined Germany and Austria under one government.
  • Czechoslovakia and Munich Agreeement

    Nazi's took over Sudetenland as long as Hitler did not enter Czechoslovakia anymore than he already had.
