Hitler was promoted to education officer which allowed him to go out into the public. I believe this is an important event to his rise because it gave him more power and allowed him to experience what the public thought about certain things and how to take advantage of those things. This was his first promotion on the road to becoming a powerful leader.

Because the Nazi party was the largest in the area, they were appointed to select a president. This gave Hitler the opportunity to become engraved in the government by becoming the vice-chancellor.
