Great Britain made law official for everyone including colonists to pay taxes. The colonists spurned the stamps and caused riots that escalated quickly. In 1765 colonists formed a group for a congress meeting to revoke the law of paying taxes.

Some of the British troops started shooting after they were harassed by an army of colonists. Five of the colonists died. Colonists dumps loads of British tea into the Boston Harbor. The Tea Act granted the British East Indian company a lot on tea sales and this made many colonists angry because it made local vendors irrelevant, and higher tea prices.

The Intolerable Acts were also known as the Coercive Acts because they were made to coerce or force someone to do something. Whether it be the colonists or anyone who chose to battle against them. The British government wanted to use these acts as the authority and punish the colonists for their doing of the Boston Tea Party. The intolerable acts were bunch of laws passed by the British Parliament in response to the Boston Tea Party.

This was the first battle of the American Revolutionary War. The British army marched all the way from Boston to Lexington to destroy all of the weapons or any artillery that the colonists had. Not having knowledge that the colonists were ready. The first shot was fired in Lexington and one thing led to another, at the end of it this all became a war. This battle was known as the beginning of the war for independence.

This fight was held in Virginia, led by George Washington, and in addition to his forces or army was help from the French troops, ready to fight against the British, with their army being led by General Cornwallis. After weeks of violence, Cornwallis surrendered on October 19th, 1781. American colonists were seeking independence and wanted to make their very own government. The British wanted to have control over the colonists, and show their authority and use that as an advantage.

It was a very meaningful agreement signed to correctly and officially end the American Revolutionary War. This was between Great Britain and The United States. They also gave some attention to the Independence that the Americans always begged for.
