  • Declaring Independence

    Declaring Independence
Declaring Independence was the beginning of the Revolutionary War. It all started really with the Proclamation of 1763 and the passing of the Stamp Act which was Britian's first way of taxing the Colonists. This caused the Colonists to get mad enough to actually plant the seed of war.

But Boston proved they didn't need to trade with them-by tradeing with the other Colonies. It was a sight to see.

  • Battle of Fort Washington

    Battle of Fort Washington
The Battle of Fort Washington was one by the British side. Alot of people may think this battle meant nothing to the Americans but that's wrong. Yes the Americans may have lost but because the did they got the idea of atacking Trenton & Priceton. This Fort was Washington's last stonghold on Manhatten. To me they should have just fled, but yet they foolishly defended and lost in the end.
  • Crossing the Delaware River

    Crossing the Delaware River
General Washington's Army had just lost Bunker Hill and was retreating towards the Delaware River. Washington needed a victory and he knew the British wouldn't follow him across the Delaware. Luckily for him it was the dead of night and he had an idea. After they crossed the Delaware he quietly surrounded Trenton. All his soldiers plundered Trenton's supplies and he moved on to go to Princeton for a victory. Once again he had tricked the British.
  • Battle of Trenton

    Battle of Trenton
The Battle of Trenton was fought on December 26, 1776,and won by the Americans. Much like the Battle of Fort Ticonederoga, this battle was more like a plunder. Because of the loss of Bunker Hill, General Washington crosses the Delaware River and planned to atack Trenton. The Hessian Soldiers standing guard were lazy and relaxed. This was why Washington won this battle. His Army took their supplies and just left afterwards.
  • Battle of Princeton

    Battle of Princeton
The Battle of Princeton was fought on Janruary 3, 1777. General Washington struck briliance as he he atacked and captured Trenton makeing the British of Princeton send reinforcements. Washington left Trenton with its supplies and once again plundered Princeton. The British didn't even see it comeing. And again he won and taking the supplies he needed just left towards the Delaware River.

  • Battle of Fort Ticonederoga

    Battle of Fort Ticonederoga
The Battle of Frot Ticonederoga started on July 2, 1777 and ended on July 6, 1777. This battle was one by the Colonial Power. This battle can be known as the joke battle. Technically it was not even a battle, but more like a plunder made by the Americans. General Washington's Army needed supplies, so the raided Fort Ticonederoga. And they won-even though they were out numbered they still managed to surprise the British. To me it was one of the top five battles fought.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
The battle of Yorktown began on August 30, 1781, and ended on October 19, 1781. When the British had a hard defeat at Cowpens, and then an expensize victory at Guilford, they decided that Virginia must be controled. After they tried to do this they retreated back to Yorktown to plan their next move. General Washingto heard of this and with the Frenc's help surounded Yorktown. He followed this plan and won ingeniously.
