The battles of Saratoga happened two years after the revolution had started. It consisted of two major battles that were fought two and a half weeks apart. This ended in a Continental Army (American) win and was a major turning point in the revolutionary war. This battle also impressed the french enough to get involved with the war efforts and supporting the colonies.
