Allowed British to sell tea directly to the colonies. -

Conists desguised as indians snuck aboard British ships and dumped 340 chests full of tea into the Boston Harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
Closed Boston Harbor, New British govenor. British cancled the charters. -
Bunker Hill
Took place on Breeds Hill not Bunker Hill. Took the British 3 attempts to get up the hill. The Americans ran out of ammo. -
Canada
Led by General Richard Montgomery. Captured Montreal and their next target was Quebec. They lost badly. -
Declaration of Independence
Took forever to declare independence from Britain. All of the people that signed it were commiting treason. -
Long Island
Washington was told to try and keep New York. They battled on long island. British came in and bombarded Washington's troops forcing them to retreat. -
Battle of Trenton
Sneak attack on British led by George Washington against the German mercenaries. Easy victory. -
Battle of Saratoga
The Americans barricaded the Hudson River delaying the British. -
Valley Forge
Baron von Steuben came and gave the army lessons and made them do drills. The Winter was horrible for the army. Some of the men had no shirts or shoes. -
Yorktown
Cornwalis led his troops to New Yorkand Washington saw a chance to trap his troops. Conwalis was surrounded at Yorktown by all sides. -
Treaty of Paris
British recognized the American's Independence. Set the borders.
