    The british wanted more money by taxing the colonist. They enabled the sugar act to tax goods on the colonists and banned alchohal poducts. They also put out warrants to search peoples house daily.

    King George forbade the American colonists to settle west of the Appalachins. This angered most of the colonist because they wanted to settle their. The colonists convinced the king to move the line further west.
