Proclamation Line
The proclamation line was made by king Geroge III.It was made to keep the colonist in a certain part of the land. Mainly it kept the colonists out of the ohio river valley. -
Sugar Act
On April 5th parliment passed a newer version of the sugar and molasses act (the old one was about to expire) That raised taxes on sugar and molasses, which raised the prices of alot of goods. Sugar was whidely used back then so it was kindove a smack in the face to the colonies -
Stamp Act
The stamp act was when they started putting taxes on things like paper, newspaaper,and other written things. They sometimes even went into peoples houses and checked all there paper products to see if they were paying there taxes. -
Boston massacre
The boston masscre was a riot induced accident. They "accidently" shot 5 people. According to multiple diffrent people eather on the british side, or commeners they were both at fault one side threw rocks and the other shot. -
Tea Act
The tea act was when the king made it so everyone could onyl buy tea from a certin copany. It also raised the price of tea. This of corse angred the colonists. They then started dumping the tea into the sea. -
Boston Tea Party
The boston tea party was a direct ct of the earlyer tea act that was bestown upon the colony. They were pretty mad that they had to buy from only one copany and they also had to pay a direct tax when buying it. If i were them i would be pretty upset myself. -
Declration on Independance
The declaration of independanc was a document that gave the colonies freedom from king george. This is all good and dandy but, it hurt them alot mroe then it helped. There taxes atleast doubled and there was more of them. The document also gave all of them indivdual rights as people.
