    Quartering Act

    This raised the revenue for the British colonies in America.
    This made the colonists very upset.
    This did not upset the colonists
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act

    The Quebec act repealed loyalty and and established religious freedoms.
    The colonists thought of the Quebec act as an intolerable because they perceived it as a threat to their colonial governments.
    The British government believed that the Quebec act solved many of the major questions
  • Boston Port Act

    Boston Port Act

    This closed the port to Boston and demanded that the cities residents pay $1 million(in today's money) of tea to be dumped in the Boston Harbor.
    The colonists didn't believe this to be just Bostons problem.
    The British government was very much angered with the Boston tea party. The government passed the Boston Port Bill, which closed that city's harbour.

    Massachusetts Government Act

    The Massachusetts government effectively ended the constitution of Massachusetts and restricted the amount of town meeting.
    The colonists said that it altered the basic structure of colonial government.
    This angered the British Government so they could no longer trade with England
  • Administration of Justice Act

    Administration of Justice Act

    The Administration of Justice act is the process of the legal system of a government is executed.
    The colonists were very upset with this new law, and referred to it as an "Intolerable Acts".
    Some of the British Government officials began to protest against these acts.
