    The preamble was the introduction of the document. The first part was about being free and having liberety. The next part was about all of the grievences. The last part was about dissloving ties with the British. The impact of it was to get independance from Britian.

    The fighting got moved to Saratoga. The British go their first victory and the Patriots retreated. Nathan Hale was an American spy who was caught by the British and then hung. The Ameicans weren't feeling too good after that British victory.

    They were trying to attack Trenton, New Jersey. The German Hessians were guarding the fort. The Americans won the attack and the felt a new confidence but were also freezing.

    Valley Forge is north-west of Philadelphia. The British were located in Philadelphia.The conditions were very harsh many soliders died. The soliders were trained but their army was weakened by the winter.

Guerrilla tactics are hit and run attacks the patriots used to slow the British down when they where coming up from the south. Francis Marion was the leader of the hit and run attacks. The southern loyalist were helping the British.

    The patriots won the Battle of King's Mountain. Nathaneal Greene was one of the generals at the Battle of King's mountain.The Americans won the Battle of Cowpens too and forced them into Yorktown.

    Spain controlled mostly all of the land west of the Mississipp river.They wantd to get Florida back and America was going to give it to them if they won. They provided ammo and money to the Patriots. They became Americas second offical ally.

    After the Battle of Cowpens Gen. Cornwallis moved down to Yorktown,a peninsula.This was a fatal mistake because the French surrounded them in the water and the only way out was going back up the peninsula but the patriots were there so they were trapped. On October 19, 1781 the war was over
