    Tsuyama Castle
    Build in 1604 by Tori Tadamasa
    It was built for the purpose of battle featuring a five-levels, as well as arrow and gun loops, and holes through which stones could be dropped 
    At that time this castle symbolises the heyday of Japanese castle construction techniques which was unique in that period.”
    It was a planned designed that took 12 years to complete.  
  • Japanese Arctic Expedition

    Japanese Arctic Expedition
    This was the first exploration of Antarctic territory by an expedition from Japan in 1910-12.
    It was led by Army Lieutenant Nobu Shirase
    Planned- This expedition was planned for the first time to carry out research in Antarctica.
    Unique- This was the first ever Antarctic research by Japan.
    Temporary- It ended in 1912
    Defined deliverable- It helps to send the material by using ships
  • Rice Cooker

    Rice Cooker
    In 1937 the imperial Japanese Army sanctioned a Type 97 automobile-kitchen equipped with a primitive electric rice cooker. It was invented by Yoshitada Minami.
    Planned: - It was the need to make such an equipment that will save the cooking time.
    Unique: - It was unique as it was the first of its type and worlds first rice cooker.
    Temporary: - As it is equipment, so it is temporary as a project.
    Defined deliverable: - It saves the time as cook best quality rice.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    The project started on November 26, 1941. The project was flagged by then prime minister of Japan, Tojo Hideki. The purpose of project was to destroy US military group. US has seized Japanese assets and banned financial & commercial business with Japan.UNIQUE- it was a surprise attack of one of its own type marked in history.TEMPORARY- The task comprises of an attack on US military base that would ruin US Naval and Air strength in Pacific. DELIVERABLES-US Pacific air and naval base destruction.

    Fire Balloon "Fu Go"
    Japanese World War II weapon, a small unmanned festive hot air balloon.Fire Balloons were invented and released by the Japanese military, and funded by the Japanese government as a weapon to use during the years of 1944-1945 during WW2. There was a date to have the weapon completed and executed by, it was the first ever weapon that possessed intercontinental range, intended to make use of the strong jet stream current and set fire to forests in America and cause fatalities.

    Japan introduced first high speed rail network- “the shinkansen” as a matter of pride on the occasion of Tokyo Olympics. The purpose was to introduce the technological advanced image of Japan to the world and increase business in nearby regions of Tokyo.
    UNIQUE- It was the fastest rail network ever invented (Speed-300km/hr).
    TEMPORARY- The project need to be completed before Japan Olympics.
    DELIVERABLES- Output was the fastest rail network of the world.

    Planned: - It was very difficult to carry big calculators at everywhere.
    Unique: - It was the first of its type and worlds first compact calculator.
    Temporary: - it was invented once and developed by the time.
    Defined deliverable: - It was easy to carry and provides accurate results.

    This tower is a mixed of residential, office tower designed by architect Kisho. Completed in 1972, the building is a rare remaining example of Japanese Metabolism, an architectural movement emblematic of Japan's post war cultural resurgence. It was planned as they want to create something new in the construction field Unique- It is only one of its kind Temporary- It was only a one building project Defined deliverable- It creates a benchmark for the entire architecture industry

    This was a planned project to create a unique first light weight portable music device this was a temporary project that had to be completed before the released date of 1979.

    Was designed by Masahiro Hara. Released by Denso Wave in 1994. The purpose of the project was to launch a 2-D code which would be high-speed readable to track vehicles during manufacturing UNIQUE The code that used white and black squares as a unique identity have biggest storage capacity
    TEMPORARY The project need to be handover to Denso Wave for assistance in their manufacturing DELIVERABLES The fastest 2-D identification code that would replace barcodes to track vehicles during manufacturing.

    The project was a planned endeavor to create a new type of gaming console with a analog stick controller, the uniqueness is evident with the first analog stick controlled in the market. It was a temporary project that had a start and end date and the defined deliverable is a gaming console.

    Shingetaka Kurita first created the Emoji in 1998 or 1999 in Japan and it was the part of the teamwork on NTT DoCoMo’s I-mode mobile internet. Emoji are used in electronic messages and web page.
    Planned: They were looking something new to express their feelings while messages.
    Unique: It was the first of its kind used for messaging
    Temporary: Emoji has created once in Japan and people are using it in the entire world.
    Defined deliverable: Facial cartoons that can express our feeling.

    Howl’s moving Castle is a fantasy animated film, based off a1986 novel. written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, produced by Toshio Suzuki, and animated by Studio Ghibli. The screenplay was created in 2004, with a release date of 20 November 2004. Howl’s Moving Castle is a project as it is unique as there was no screenplay of Howl’s Moving Castle previously, it is temporary as it has a date in which the movie required to be released on, and the deliverable was the movie being released in cinemas.

    Tokyo Skytree is a broadcasting, restaurant and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It is the tallest building in Japan and is the second tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa (829.8 m/2,722 ft.) Planned- It was planned as they were trying to make something new in the field of architecture.Unique- As it was the first skytree in Japan.Temporary- The project ended when the construction of building is finished.Defined deliverable- It is the tallest building in Japan.
  • Yamaga Lantern Festival

    Yamaga Lantern Festival
    The Yamaga Lantern festival is a “dream-like” festival with ancient origin where there is a beautiful lantern display, firework display, and has a 1,000 traditional women dancers.
    Yamaga Onsen tourist association and Yamaga garden lantern Festival executive committee organise the event of the Yamaga Lantern Festival, which is held on 15-16 August annually.
    Planned event each year, not every aspect of the festival is the same year to year, making each year unique to visit
